Stylitics, a leading provider of digital outfitting technology for retailers in the fashion industry, partnered with 360 Cloud Solutions to rapidly migrate its finance, billing, revenue recognition, and procurement operations from QuickBooks to NetSuite. The company has been experiencing significant growth, both organically and acquisitively, and it needed an ERP that could scale with its contract-subscription business model.
“This project was a textbook case of what can happen when a client has truly prepared for an ERP implementation, maintains focus and momentum within their team, and delivers answers, tasks, and direction in a timely manner,” stated the 360 lead consultant. He continued, “When Stylitics first engaged with us, due to an imminent acquisition, they asked that we find a way to rapidly configure their NetSuite account to handle not only basic finance, accounting, and procurement processes, but also NetSuite’s Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module, in a very short period of time.”
Stylitics committed to a very focused eight-week effort to accomplish their goals and they stayed true to the implementation roadmap designed by 360, which included:
- Attending three days of in-person, design/build workshops where the bulk of their NetSuite account was configured.
- Changing business processes to fit NetSuite best practices and out-of-the-box functionality, unless a customization is absolutely necessary.
- Delivering clean and properly formatted data migration files.
- Making quick decisions.
- Focusing on core business use cases and avoiding the distraction of edge use cases.
The two-month collaboration between Stylitics and 360 resulted in a functional NetSuite ERP system that included:
- Two subsidiaries with seamless financial management across multiple entities and a foundation to add additional subsidiaries as needed.
- Billing and accounting processes that could be used by both internal and 3rd-party offshore staff
- Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) that met Stylitics’ deferred revenue management requirements driven by its differing customer contractual arrangements.
- Native plugin paired with custom PDFs that allowed Stylitics to produce consolidated customer invoices while preserving the ability to report on multiple customer hierarchies and attributes.
In a post-implementation retrospective, the lead 360 consultant claimed, “the Stylitics team was largely responsible for the successful launch of their new NetSuite ERP. They bought into our delivery approach and aside from the consolidated invoicing customization, which we knew about before beginning the project, never deviated from their own mandate to use NetSuite out of the box. They were very task-oriented and didn’t spend a lot of cycles making decisions. Great people to work with!”
Stylitics also expressed appreciation for 360’s expertise and flexibility in making it possible to go live in a compressed timeline (not to mention coming in under budget!). Regarding the 360 team lead (and ARM expert), the Stylitics corporate controller exclaimed, “Catherine AMAZED me with all that she could configure in ARM with me just talking to her!” 360 now provides Stylitics with our praised on-demand, extended support, and the controller recently stated, “Amy has been my savior a few times already.”
Here at 360 Cloud Solutions, we constantly challenge ourselves to personalize our collaboration with our clients and we want to thank Stylitics for both giving us a challenge and ultimately for trusting us with their NetSuite ERP implementation.
